Style - Rock
On the chord chart that i have written out as you can see i have taken the chords from, knocking on havens door by guns and roses. Knocking on havens door is a classic rock song and in order to improvise over it you need to use stylistic elements of rock improvisation. I have also attached the tabliture to the melody's of the original solo so that i can take elements from it and put it in my improvisation.
Chord Charts-
aural stimulus eg rhythmic, melodic, harmonic, tonal, lyrical; sonic trademarks

rhythmic -
Rythmicly speaking, take 5 is a very interesting song, it is in a unusual time signature as opposes to most music being in a simple 4/4/ Take 5 is in a 5/4 time signature. The lead lines and the melodys that are played have a lot of on and of beat notes and a lot of pushed notes to make the piece more interesting and to keep momentum in the track.
