extending and developing Idea 1
How have i developed this idea from Lo1?
Step 1 -
I began humming the melody that I wrote on the piano
Step 2 -
I began to think of a subject for the words and started to put words to the melody's

The video on the right of this is how idea 1 began, I have some lyrics over the top of it now to and I am going to play them in the video below.
However I had to transpose the melody down a few half tones in order for me to sing the melody along with it because as it is on the video on the right in its original key it is to high for me to sing. I moved it down 7 tones t Bb. |

How have I developed this idea?
I have written a new section for the idea and that section will be the chorus. I think that this will act as the hook for the song, and it is nice because it goes from a miner sounding verse to a c major and the chorus sounds happy even though the words are not happy:
Chorus
I don't know
how you go on,
acting so tall
pretend so strong
As you can see in the two videos below this paragraph I have developed this idea by putting chords underneath the melody's and the words that i have written as well as making my different sections for my composition. Now I am beginning to put together structure for my composition. Using Repetition on the chorus will help the chorus to get stuck in the listener head and will complete my composition and using repetition with the second verse using the same melody as the first verse.

Developing and extending idea 2
How have i developed this idea from lo1?
I have developed this idea by making it into sections, I have separated a second section and a first section. I wrote the second section a bit more complicated that the second section. I decided that it needed a few more chord changes than the first section. So i built it around 4 chords instead of 2 chords.

I have decided to give my second idea a binary structure. This means that the piece will go - section A, section B, sections A.
The video on the right of this paragraph shows me playing my song using the ABA structure. The composition sounds a lot more complete now that it has a real structure. |

I have also taken the time to write out the chords that my the two different sessions in my composition follow.
Idea 5
Step one of developing idea number 5
How have i developed this idea from Lo1?
Step 1 -
I began humming a melody that i though went with the feel of the song
Step 2 -
I began to think of a subject for the words and started to put words to the melody's
Step 3 -
I managed to get 4 lines together that i was happy with and decided that was going to be the first verse
Step 4 -
once I had written a fist verse that i liked i began to replicate the melody's and change the words for the second verse

Extending and developing my 5th idea.
I wrote lyrics and melody's next for my song. I have written out the lyrics below.
I love it when we do things so spontaneously
Contemplate it for a second , that's enough to baby jump straight in.
To the deep end and pretend it inst new to me,
well learn our lessons, docent matter if we sink or swim.
Its all about, taking what comes around and then making something out of it,
oh the debris we find on the ground
You make all the words come so easily,
what is it despairing oh when you go leaving only me
something about the simplicity
we don't complicate or hesitate no we just let it be
Its all about, taking what comes around and then making something out of it,
oh the debris we find on the ground

My idea number 6 - Remix
Step 1 -
for the first step i began to find synth sounds that i liked and used them to replicate the chord structure form the original song.
Step 2 -
For the next step i layered on a bass drum in the parts where i wanted the track to be louder.
step 3 -
I then put in the vocal samples that i had got from the original track

My remix is going very well i have started by, putting to together a structure that is different to the original song but uses the same chord sequences. I have written out the chord sequences below. In the song i am not going to uses any of the lyrics from the verses of the song because i don't think im my remix they will ad very much. I have began with a bass synthesis in the remix and gone through the whole track and then imported the vocals from the original track.
